IPDET Newsletter 2/2012 reports: “IPDET is proud to continue its support of the European Program for Development Evaluation Training (EPDET), an annual event organized by our alumni and modeled on our flagship summer program. This year, EPDET was held September 16-22 in Čilistov, Slovak Republic. In its sixth year, the program was once again co-sponsored by the Slovak Society for Evaluation, represented by Mrs. Dagmar Gombitova, and provided by IPDET Co-directors, Dr. Linda G. Morra Imas and Dr. Ray C. Rist. The event was attended by 51 participants from 27 countries.”
We are delighted EPDET 2012 was a success with its participants. The short summer schools format was attended by experts from Asia, Africa and even North America, proving growing interest in good quality evaluation training.
